Important Information on USDA-Compliant Pet Transport 🐾

I want to clear up some common misunderstandings about USDA-compliant pet transport, because this is not optional and not a matter of opinion.

You cannot request a USDA-registered, licensed, insured pet transport company and then choose not to follow USDA requirements. Compliance goes both ways.

Here’s what USDA compliance actually means:

✔️ A current health certificate is REQUIRED
A USDA health certificate (APHIS form 7001) must be dated within 10 days of travel.
If a pet travels again shortly after arriving, a new health certificate is still required. Previous certificates do not carry over.

✔️ Health certificates, vaccines, and vet records are NOT the same
• Vaccine records = proof of vaccinations
• Vet records = general medical history
• Health certificate = an official USDA document certifying fitness for transport

These are three different things.

✔️ A vet does not decide if a health certificate is required
USDA regulations determine this — not a veterinarian, not a transporter, and not a customer. It's required for domestic AND international, regardless of what your vet says.

✔️ USDA-compliant transport requires payment in full prior to departure
To remain compliant, insured, and protected, 100% payment is due before leaving my driveway. This is part of operating legally and responsibly.

USDA compliance exists to protect the animals, the customer, and the transporter. Cutting corners is not an option here — and I will not risk my license, registration, or insurance.

If you want professional, legal, USDA-compliant transport, these requirements are non-negotiable.

Thank you to the many clients who respect the process and trust us with their pets. 🐶🐱

🐱 Cat Flight Nanny Service – FAQs

❓ What is a flight nanny for cats?
A professional pet nanny travels with your cat in the airplane cabin as a carry-on, ensuring comfort, safety, and same-day delivery in most cases.

❓ Why is this safer than cargo?
Your cat is never placed in cargo or around unfamiliar animals. They remain in the cabin with constant supervision, minimizing stress and risk.

❓ Can multiple cats travel together?
Yes! Depending on the airline, cats may share a carrier, travel with an extra seat, or we can arrange for two nannies.

❓ Do you offer home pickup or delivery?
Absolutely — we can provide ground transport to or from the airport for a complete door-to-door experience.

❓ How much does it cost?
On average, flight nanny service for cats ranges from $1,000–$1,500, which covers airfare, pet fees, travel insurance, and the nanny’s care.

Airline tickets are non-refundable unless you specify refundable, which are more. Therefore, I have a no cancellation policy.

Some don't know if it's acceptable or necessary or even a thing in this line of work. Short answer- TIPS ABSOLUTELY ARE AND MUCH APPRECIATED!
Some tip because of the extra effort we give.

Some tip because they know our prices don't always equal to a profit.

Some tip because they are ever so grateful for what we do and the amount of love and care provided.
Some tip monetary and some tip with small gifts or loving cards. It never matters how big or small, it's the thought and acknowledgement of a job well done

Tips are NEVER expected, it is solely up to you. My customer.
